The Birthing Hut is a doula collective. We connect local black doulas to black expecting and postpartum families, as doulas we provide essential services of labor preparation through education, informing and connecting families to resources available locally, and being a mental and emotional support system. The Birthing Hut is an organization that focuses on the professional growth and development of our Black doula to ensure we can provide exceptional care, and best practices for our mothers. At our core, our focus is to prevent Black mothers from becoming a maternal health statistic in the Pittsburgh region.
